Setting Up Settlement Settings
To set settlement settings, click on the "Settings" link in the main menu, located in the left sidebar, and then click on the "Settlement Settings" button in the top links bar.
There are 2 sections on the settlement settings page: "Recurring Settlement Deductions", "Recurring Settlement Reimbursements".
Recurring Settlement Deductions
In the "Recurring Settlement Deductions" section, you can create and delete records that will be automatically created within each newly created settlement if the driver is not specified, and each new settlement for a specific driver if the driver is selected.
You can create two types of recurring settlement deduction records:
a record that will decrease the settlement total by a fixed amount
a record that will decrease the settlement total by a specified percentage of the settlement total
This is convenient to do if, in each driver settlement or a specific driver's settlement, you are forced to reduce its total by a certain amount, for example, to deduct particular fees.
Recurring Settlement Reimbursements
In the "Recurring Settlement Reimbursements" section, you can create and delete records that will be automatically created within each newly created settlement if the driver is not specified, and each new settlement for a specific driver if the driver is selected.
You can create two types of recurring settlement reimbursement records:
a record that will increase the settlement total by a fixed amount
a record that will increase the settlement total by a specified percentage of the settlement total
This is convenient to do if, in each driver settlement or a specific driver's settlement, you are forced to increase its total by a certain amount, for example, to add a bonus.
